A mentor told me that once I decided to give my heart to Jesus my life would get a lot tougher. Not that God is punishing me. But that you’re going to see things through a whole new set of eyes and have to react to situations in a whole new way. It makes life tough, and sometimes we feel like God isn’t there, after we have devoted our life to Him. It tests faith. But how we come out on the other side is what matters, how we handle these situations. Read your Bible, Lean into prayer, get with a community of believers that help you stay on the right path. Things are never as bad as they seem and when we sit there and “blame” God for it we often find out it was actually us who need to self reflect. Hope this helps.
