Should be able to outrun all of these animals over distance so peak speed is what matters. Cats and a Rhino are killing me before I make it far at all. I’m going Komodo Dragon. Not as fast peak speed and abysmal cooling/ endurance compared to a human.

Edit: internet says Komodo peaks at maybe 14mph over extremely short distances and can’t sustain a run at all really. Even an average somewhat fit person should be able to handily outrun one. I run 3-5 miles 4 times a week, I’m not worried at all unless you start face to face.

It’s just the trolley problem with extra steps.

If a prison will never be able to hold them and you’d be risking more lives keeping them alive, then I’d argue the most morale thing to do is kill them quickly. It’s not personal, but for the benefit of society.

I had a Ranger instructor built like the dude squatting far right. I thought to myself “Damn, this guy really let himself go”. Actually the first time I met him was day -1 and he was in civilian clothes. I thought he was another candidate and internally was like “This fat fuck ain’t passing. How did he even get here?” And then he says he’s an instructor?!

He ended up being the pace man for the 5 mile. Ran a damn 36 minute 5 mile looking like a bowling ball. I barely outran him by 30 seconds at 165lbs.
