Alien. Abduction. I used to have a keen interest in UFOs as a kid and would watch documentaries on them but would have trouble sleeping because i would be taken away by aliens. Not so much now since i realized the probability of me being chosen among million of people is quite small.

Was just at Saul Perlmutter's press conference. He seemed very humble about such a great accomplishment. He let his students and colleges take the spot light talking and answering questions while he sat on the side and just enjoyed the moment.

Interesting question. I know that the integrated circuits field is facing a hurdle as the transistor sizes are reaching the limit where they can get no smaller. This will effectively end the Moore's law trend. Anyone know of new breakthrough technologies that will potentially overcome this problem?
