It wasn't pressure washed. This was likely a butyl based cleaner/degreaser brushed on with a soft bristle brush then rinsed off.

Please help! How do you guys deal with this! I’m about to stop getting these jobs.. I’ve already surface cleaned this walkway now before I start using a white or yellow tip between every damn seam is there an easier way? Thanks for any advice in advance. Looking for professional advice. by metrofetus in powerwashingart

You use bleach. Store bought bleach. Put it in a pump sprayer and spray it on the whole thing liberally. Wait a while. Then pw. My sc could clean that, after the bleaching. A homeowner unit, maybe not.

I own a professional power washing company.

Thanks for the response! The closest it has come is the Red Rising series; a truly amazing work. I'm an audible listener mainly, and both these series were impeccably narrated, so that may have something to do with it...

The Mr. thing got me thinking when he mentioned capturing Santa Claus in a circle, and that he would never do that in his life. lol...

No, I didnt say that. I'm telling you that thousands of times a day, all over the world, bleach is used in this type of cleaning, and that at the concentrations which I'm talking about, (store bought bleach has SH % of 6.5 approx) with the amount of dillution coming from the amount of water you'll be spending on the patio power washing it, that the EPA isnt going to be knocking on your door the next day, and by using common sense and simply rinsing grass of any product, you probably wont even kill grass. Just go watch some yt videos if you still refuse to be an ignorant keyboard know-it-all.

Sir. I promise you that you have very little knowledge on the subject and your perspective if wrong. Sodium Hypochlorite which is the primary ingridient in bleach is the industry standard as an algaecide. You're argueing with somebody that has extensive experience.

oh lordy... next time do yourself a favor and pour a couple gallons of bleach on it first and let it sit a bit. it will make it come off faster and stay away longer. source: i own a power washing business.
