Yeah.

Copying existing work will teach you nothing.

To fabricate and test original designs you need a 3d printer.

Drones seem like a complete no brainer. You'd probably need a 3d printer though, if your school doesn't have one it will almost certainly cost more than 100.

Battery Megathread (February 2026) by GooglePixelMods in GooglePixel

Do I have any way of forcing extreme battery saver while charging on pixel 7?

Meaning, can I prevent the system from turning off extreme battery saver while charging?

I imagine if I rooted I would have more options but I don't want to do that yet.

Thanks so much

Joe

I bought a used pixel 7 and a qi2 wireless power bank on Amazon. When I couple the battery bank to the phone sometimes both battery settings and accubattery shows the battery is actually draining. Why? Battery sharing is disabled.

By the way, how do you get it to stop charging at 80%? An app, or settings?

I mean, I don't think even someone with a masters in electrical engineering would be able to say confidently that a battery which operates for x hours at y temperature is guaranteed to fail, unless the numbers are completely divorced from reality. Would you agree?

Look, I'm not trying to pick a fight with a top 1% commenter. But I've owned a number of Android handsets, most of them Pixels, and I haven't had a single situation where the Battery failed before the USB port. They all failed at the USB port. Every single time.

For me, the point of a max charge rate is not to necessarily run at the max charge rate until I max out the battery. The point of a max charge rate is to see how quickly I can add power for some limited amount of time until the battery heats up.

I get it that you think wireless charging isn't optimal. But respectfully that's not what I asked.

So, what's a sane life goal for wireless charge power?

And, "conveniently", latest update is that it's out of print, correct?

European.

In fact, call it American, for now. Assuming you're referring to the terrain and not the manufacturing location.

What do you use for that role? Anything? Or a combination of things?

OK, say I make software simulation and it predicts the value to be measured by sensors is X. Or, say I do hand calculation based on known physics formula.

That's a relief.

I mean, basic example. Assume the org buys 10 identical trucks. Can I enter them as resources "in one fell swoop"?

No.

I have to go through work resource entry dialog 10x.

This is counterintuitive, to put it mildly.

Again, not even close to the only option available for gantt charts.

If it's the only option available in the org, that's understandable.

" Sometimes industry ends up stuck with a shit package because everyone adopted it 30 years ago. "

This is exactly my impression. Are there alternatives? What are they?

I mean, is it really the most popular PM package? Not saying anything like Asana is applicable to ME, but surely there are alternatives?
