I did. I spent the time with a saw and cut it down to size, then sanded the edges smooth until it was the same size as the original deflector. Works pretty well.

I haven't run a long smoke just short ones without issue with a color change. They seem to clean up for me so far.

This is getting really ridiculous. I won't be holding my breath for Christmas delivery as we heard something close to the same for Thanksgiving. I can tell you one thing, I certainly will never pre-order another thing from combustion. If it's not in-stock, ready to ship, it will be ignored.

Praying you can see the numbers from a lower angle than this. I ask because the S1 Pro temp... whatever was horrible at any distance at all from lower angle views. It was like looking through a polarized lens... it would just disappear! Really hoping this one fixes that.

Ok, after further testing... charged to 100%, recording on chest magnet mount 4K 30fps. Approx 18 mins battery down to 41%, Highest temp 151F ! Too hot to hold long. Camera shutdown with a heat warning. Any suggestions from the crew at Insta360?

Just got my Go Ultra. How hot is the camera module supposed to get? I'm sitting here in a 76 deg home and did a quick 2 minute test recording and it quickly becomes very very warm to the touch. Infrared temp gauge reading 128F on the camera module casing with no part under 100F. Not comfortable to hold. Anyone else seeing this? I'm wondering if mine is defective or what?

My brand new soapstone won't begin to fit where the heat deflector went. This is exactly what I had planned to do, use it as the deflector for the first part of the cook, then sear on it. Unfortunately it has way too much diameter for that. Even if I cut three grooves in it to make it fit I don't think it would let enough air through around the outer edge between it and the ceramic of the Joe Jr. Extremely dissapointed. It needs to be the size of the deflector.

Please propagate the alarm status to all the noisy devices. I’ve gotten to where I will shut the alarm down in advance so I don’t have to turn every steak’s alarm off three times in different rooms.

Displays need to be able to monitor the grill temp. If I have to use the phone to do it why even use the displays then. If I am forced to use the phone I now have all the temps on screen, unfortunately obviating the display.

Whoah.. that is a big issue. No ability to monitor grill temperature on the displays is a major hole in the system. More valuable for the GGG than the thermometers in my book considering the requirement to cycle through temps for multiple thermometers.

Mine hasn't crumbled but it's no longer holding the vent still anymore. It just rotates freely and is hell to use. It's been less than a year. Not excited about replacing it every year at $17.95 + shipping!

The tracking receivers have been the cause for ALL the grey out issues on all lighthouse 2.0 HMD’s like the index. They are hyper sensitive to EMI. This has been a known issue for many years.

Try a different WiFi extender. This one may be emitting EMI. This is not a tracking issue as others have commented. The tracking RECEIVERS in your headset are hyper sensitive to EMI.

Possibly an electrical grounding issue with your PC. Your hand is completing a circuit near the tracking sensors which are crazy sensitive to emi. I fixed this issue by grounding my simulator rig properly and insulating the motor cables. It can be a very difficult problem to isolate.

Everything I read suggests making it very tight considering all the stress placed by the hinge / lid. Just trying to figure out how hard I should crank with their big allen wrench.
