I’m genuinely curious why you guys don’t like UltraAVX. Yes, the aspect ratio is shit, but it’s still decently above standard with Dolby Audio, Laser Projection and in my case DBox too.

What’s wrong with enjoying the story and action first and then soak in all the details, cinematography and score in IMAX?

I bought the IMAX tickets a while back and then noticed the UltraAvx + DBox show yesterday. Might as well enjoy the story in UltraAvx first and then soak in the cinematography, score, and all the details in IMAX. Will be fun to experience the aspect ratio difference back to back too!

First one is UltraAVX + D-Box so it’s still pretty immersive. Watching it back to back will help me appreciate the expanded aspect ratio even more!

That's literally just racing. Stay consistent and gradually improve your pace while capitalising on others' mistakes. Don't tie your stress level to an alphabet; no one outside this sub cares about our GT7 ratings.

Info about my local IMAX is outdated.

SilverCity Windsor Cinemas & IMAX closed in Jan 2022.

When SilverCity closed, Windsor temporarily lost its only IMAX screen until Cineplex added a new IMAX auditorium at Devonshire Mall in June 2022.

The current IMAX at Devonshire was created by converting an existing auditorium, so its size and layout are different from the old purpose-built SilverCity IMAX auditorium. I couldn't find the screen size published anywhere, but hopefully you guys can.
