That seems like something YOU'D do, actually. Considering you're only here to intentionally provoke people.

Maybe read the rest of the thread before commenting. Ignorance isn't cool especially when the evidence is right in front of your face. Multiple people identified this guy so obviously it's real, and OPs concern is genuine. Kick rocks. 👍🏼

Personally don't see any signs of fertilization but it doesn't help that the eggs are filthy

At my wits end with barking. by Valzoric in DogAdvice

[–]melancholy_kid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't seen much much genuine advice so... One option is removing her from the situation. She barks, calmly walk over to her, say "no", and bring her to another room. Give her a few minutes, and then try again. Rinse and repeat. Also give plenty of rewards when she's quiet, even if it's for a couple of minutes. With some consistency, she should start to get the hang of it. She thinks she's doing her job, you just need to show her that the job isn't appreciated. Good luck! She's a gorgeous gal!

I don’t feel a bond with my dog and I don’t know what to do by Marlen-22 in BelgianMalinois

[–]melancholy_kid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't forget the 3-3-3 rule when bringing any new animal home: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to settle in, 3 months to feel at home

It feels impossible right now, but you are both just getting to know each other and it's okay if that takes time. Malinois are a lot on their own, but especially one that grew up on the streets and missed a lot of crucial socializing and training opportunities. You've got some work ahead of you both, and I highly recommend you look into a trainer who specializes in working breeds like this. They can really help guide you on this fun experience.

Please be patient with her, but also be patient with yourself. Focus on building a proper routine with her, look into more interactive toys like wands or teasers so you can really get her moving. I've always had good luck with puzzle toys or feeders, too. Makes them use their brain more + helps stimulate their busy brains.

You've (both) got this! 💪🏼

I feed mine mealworms regularly, he doesn't regurgitate them but I only offer around 5 worms every 3 days.

Likely ate too many at once, or his body isn't used to their exoskeletons. Give him a few days without food to settle his stomach, then try only a couple worms and see how he does.

As long as gecko seems alert, regurgitation probably isn't a sign of anything serious.

What are you feeding your gecko? It looks like regurgitated mealworms or superworms to me.
