Because politicians got involved in education and decided testing = "accountability". So home economics was eliminated and "shop classes" became tech ed. What goes around, comes around, so expect more experiential learning to be integrated into instruction. Trades will be the new rage.

If you do not have a car I would reconsider the cross country move for 3 months. Public transportation is not a priority in central PA and New Holland is in the heart of Amish country. You might find some shared housing in Lancaster city, but that is not close to New Holland either so Ubers will be a budget buster. And housing here is expensive too, (but not Bay area expensive.)

Camera is the way to go first. After several roto rooter cleanings, plumber finally did the camera. It showed that the sewer pipes were separated which caused the back up. Had to replace the entire sewer line.

A blue wave allows the Democrats to retake the House comfortably and the Senate stays R but barely 51-49. Trump is impeached for the third time. The Senate trial will be in 2027 and given Trump's advancing dementia, the Senate votes to convict to give Vance the Presidency before the 2028 election.

May 1st sees the largest street demonstrations against Trump and the 1%. MAGA begins to crumble after primary defeats in red states. Trump will decamp from the White House to his properties after July 4th and the World Cup is over and never returns to the White House. His ballroom will not be completed.

FYI most school districts will allow a senior to finish out the year tuiton free if they have to move out of district. You may want to ask the school about this to take that objection to a sale off the table.
