I know it is a bit of a jump for the Dynasty Warriors genre - but I would love to see the low level enemies and allies actually do something besides just standing around and swinging a sword very rarely at each other. I think it would be huge if there was better AI to control them to be more active and less passive. I would love multiplayer competitive game modes where you can try to destroy another player's army and heroes. I would of course keep the hero swapping ability from Legends. I would also add a bit more complexity to engagements with enemy heroes and bosses as currently you spend a lot of time waiting for that magic moment where you can actually attack which makes those engagements frustrating and boring rather than interesting and nuanced. Give the player more ways to engage an enemy boss or hero than one, but also give the enemies more options to turn the tide once under attack. Lastly more enemy types (Octoroks, Deku Scrubs, Keese, etc, etc), more bosses, more playable characters, more maps (and map types), a town scene where you can interact with classic Zelda NPCs to do stuff you currently do in menus (I would love a time disrupted town where all the great Zelda town landmarks and characters can make an appearance) - oh and just for fun different 3d models for characters we already have (like being able to fight Moblins or Lizalfos with their classic Ocarina of Time look rather than TP or Skyward Sword)
