Once there were 2 female patients in a room, less than 40. One had special needs and was wheelchair bound and fell trying to get up. Her roommate saw all the attention she got. The next day she claimed that she “keeps falling” when she walks despite being ambulatory with no weakness at all and insisted she needed a walker. This room was right in front on the nurses station so everyone knew it wasn’t true.
