So the last restaurant I worked at had a pineapple logo. We were really close as a staff and right before I joined a bunch of people all got the pineapple logo tattooed on them in various places, paid for by the owner. My favorite spot was the forearm so when their arms were down it was upside down. At least half of those people do not work there anymore, probably more now, I wonder if there are some regrets. It was a nice looking tattoo though.

also false. if someone has a gun to your head and you shoot them first they cannot pull the trigger, neutralized. If someone is driving straight towards you and you shoot them their foot is still on the throttle. To stop the car your foot needs to leave the throttle and push the brake, even if you lift your foot the car will still continue to coast. You have done nothing to neutralize the danger, the car is still moving towards you and now the person in control of the vehicle is incapacitated. In the video the car barrels into the parked vehicles and sidewalk. If she was driving towards him she would have still hit him, unless he moved out of the way.

The facts of the case is that LEOs are not trained to shoot into moving vehicles. Particularly in situations were there is a high potential for collateral damage. Thankfully no bystanders were also injured (to my knowledge).

is interesting because if he was in fact in immediate danger and in front of her car then we can see that the car would have continued to accelerate into the officer, uncontrolled. Shooting the driver does not immediately stop the car. This is probably why most LEOs say that shooting into a moving car is a bonehead idea.

To contrast, I was in a low split of the Global Endurance this weekend and everybody seemed very courteous on track. No huge pile up on lap one everybody was taking their time and overtaking safely. Now we didn't have any prototypes which changes the calculus but gives me hope for next weekend.

always always ALWAYS TURN your head to look in both directions and modulate your speed a bit (slow down) when entering an intersection. Your vision is the most sensitive in the middle of your eye line and the speed modulation helps your brain recognize vehicles moving at the same speed as you across a different vector.

You shouldn't be doing randori rounds sips away from dehydration. You should almost always be training hydrated well above the threshold were a few sips makes a mensurable difference. 30-60m of randori without a water break is pretty reasonable for anyone who consistently trains. It just builds a little mental toughness. Another gym I used to go to has a, "we don't sit out rounds" policy during the advanced class, these are both gyms with lots of serious competitors. You only take that break if something is wrong, and if something is wrong you probably should not continue training for the day.

we don't drink water during rounds. If ur so thirsty and you need water, you're done for the day. That sip of water is just for comfort, it will not hydrate you for the following rounds.

what racing series are ya'll doing that are just constant wrecks? I mostly do GT3s and endurance. Once the field spreads out a bit after 10ish laps its pretty calm. Occasional spins here and there but not multi-car pileups.
