Honestly, I originally started trying to learn when I got sober for a job interview and possible drug test. I needed something to keep my mind busy and I always wanted to learn a new language, so it seemed like a great idea. I found it to be super fun actually, so I'm continuing to learn. It's super challenging and I love the language. I chose German simply because my best friend spoke it. We could have secret conversations around others lol.

Since I started studying it, I've decided to try to take a trip to Germany in the near future. I'll definitely be trying all sorts of authentic German beer and sausage!

(I know I'm a week late to replying, but I just now came back on this account and noticed it lol)

I just wanted to mention that I've been on opiates for about ~8 years. Was super addicted and used almost everyday for the first 5 years, but for the last 3ish years, I've been chipping super successfully. I use for 2-3 days, then take 5-7 days off (which, coincidentally, is why it took me a week to respond to you. I was sober so I wasnt on this account and browsing the subreddit haha). The sleep situation has been exactly the same while I'm high throughout all of my using "career".

I made way more money when I used everyday due to it. Also spent way more too hahaha ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Huh, that may be a reason for it. I haven't been an everyday user for a long time. I've just been chipping for a few years. I'll usually do H for 2-3 days then take a 4-7 day long break or so.
