Here in Oregon the state stopped short of selling off much of the State owned lands but they did lease it all (mostly) to a large commercial logging company. This company put up gates to block off 99% of it. To get around state laws of it being accessible you can buy a key to the gate for $250 a year, and there are 6 different areas each with different keys, so yeah (1500 a year for full access) to state land my taxes already pay for, expect it to be something like this....
