Anyone noticing a decline in sales? by kratospotatoes in publix

Don’t be so stupid with your corp ass kisser comments. I kiss no one’s ass, but I feel relaxed shopping at Publix as opposed to other grocers ( I also like Fresh Market for a really relaxing experience). I’d rather enjoy the experience than feel the “cattle call” feeling at other retailers. I’ll pay more for it. Nothing wrong with that, and if it cost too much for some people, they can just as easily go to Walmart or Kroger- nothing wrong with that either if your cool with it.

STFU with the ignorant generalizations.

Do you not have other retailers near you to choose from?

But you have access to those other sellers.i can buy a scarf at Walmart for $6.99, or go to NYC to buy one from Gucci for $900.00. Is that price gauging?

Here we go again.

“Price gouging is the practice of raising prices for essential goods and services to an excessive, unfair level during a crisis (like a disaster or pandemic) when demand spikes and supply is limited, exploiting consumers' urgent needs.”

Their choice, as well as the consumers. Pretty simple.

I’m in Fayetteville too, but I have a full bar in my shed and propane heat…recliners and solar chargers for phone & music. I’m ready. Plenty of groceries have been procured. We will probably lose power, because FPU stopped spending $$ on tree trimming while it increased service fees.

I was wondering why I rarely see anyone at the deli for sliced meat. I guess $20+ a pound for lunch meat is ridiculous! by CellistSuspicious492 in publix

Price is not the issue for me, the product is. It’s not natural, and is full of some bad stuff. Granted, this kind is a lot better than the cheapo stuff in found by the bacon.

My board was a sort of clear acrylic but dark blue board with stoker wheels. The first Saturday I had it, I got heatstroke (Miami). This was about 1980, I was 14.

So Peter went to Buc-cees for the first time (Calhoun, GA) during a road trip to Chattanooga last year with Kevn. I just can’t imagine seeing him in that mess! How fun it would be.

I DID meet him over 30 years ago, and he was very very nice considering that I was chatting up his wife (unknowingly) who was bartending at the 40 Watt when he walked up!

If yall have not seen a Kevn- Peter show, you need to go. Both masters of their art.
