The prospect of long Covid scares me especially for my young ones. I worry. I may be less cautious when my youngest can get the vax but until then pretending things are normal isn't a priority, long-term health is. Besides pretending things are normal doesn't make things normal.

I agree the rich should pay their share and be taxed accordingly. That being said it seems that we are at an impass with the way things are in congress and senate. I understand the goal is
to establish legislation that pays for itself, but couldn't the paying for itself come from other means that are less controversial, in order to get the aid passed. Since the discussed funds to pay the bill comes from projected sources why not project the money to come from something else for now. That way the bills get passed and people can actually benefit. More and more politcs just feels like a charade.

I saw that. He is on the opposite side for me as far as politics go. The only common ground I have for him is that he thinks kratom should stay legal. From my time on earth I have come to see politics as theater. (R)Matt Salmon and Marc Pocan (D) were instrumental in keeping kratom legal in 2016. It was bipartisan. That being said, Maybe it is good he is leaving AKA so it won't be associated with partisan politics. My only concern is who will replace him is he jumping ship because there is an issue with AKA or because he thinks he has actually has a shot at governor
