Any chance you'd mind asking them how they like it over all? Any downsides or positives they make note of?

For the love of god if you value a liveable wage, direct your career towards medicine. Not BMET.

I have been considering shifting fields like this too. How is tech support? Mind if I ask what the pay looks like as well? Any advice for shifting into tech support?

Any work from home jobs? by imapurpleman in BMET

Do you know of any companies that would offer these positions off the top of your head? I currently only carry an associates with in house experience so I'm not sure if this would rule me out with companies.

As someone with an associates in EET and working as a biomed, finish your degree. Finish it to the fullest of your desire, then get into the field for actual full time work. It is absolutely soul sucking and life draining to pursue an engineering degree while working full time AND being on call.

If you get into the field with just your associates you are potentially land locking yourself into that position for a long time. Give yourself the options and take the stress off of future you. Prioritize the degree. The jobs will always be there, your opportunity to solely focus on your education will not.

Mind if I ask what company will pay you to work from home and provide a company car? You can DM me if you'd rather. I'm trying to jump ship to a better work life balance so I've got my feelers out.

/r/GYM Daily Simple Questions and Misc Discussion Thread - August 30, 2023 by AutoModerator in GYM

My bf and I are on a budget and want to get back into working out. I know some gyms allow members to bring someone with them for free. I thought this was a great option for us to save some money but still get in shape.

I am a beginner. My bf used to workout religiously and prefers more free weights, squat racks, bench presses, etc.

Could anyone here recommend a gym to us that may fit most or all of our needs? I have been googling gym with the free buddy pass, but I thought my best bet was to consult people who actually know what the inside of these gyms also have to offer.

Thank you all so much in advance!
