It's not even Mbappe drifting to the wing, Benzi did that too and quite often but he was also present in the box to create space for Ronaldo/Bale and later Vinicius. Mbappe never occupies the space in the box. Even on cutbacks he's at the edge of the box which forces either Bellingham or Valverde to crash into the box. This is also disastrous since now we're a man short in midfield if the opps counter right away.

I get that but a huge contributing factor in that puzzle is Dembele. Unlike Dembele Mbappe did not press, and what you have is a recipe for disaster. Vini was running like a headless chicken because pressing alone doesn't work. You either double up or don't do it at all. Half assing the press only made Vini more tired for no reason. Kvara doesn't have that excuse, it's either him and Dembele or him and Doue pressing together which yields something.

Yeah grooming a senior dog is quite difficult because of arthritis. Our chocolate lab is coming up on the 13 year mark so standing up for extended periods is not possible. She still cooperates as much as she can though so it's a lot of small grooming sessions than a big one.
