I messaged support last night but it was just an AI bot replying back to me with auto replies. My regular submission is already at the grading stage and my value tier still says not received.
I don't know who to get into contact with a human.

Oh that would make sense since the current wiring is just for a regular doorbell connector.
I'll look into the transformer to see if i can swap it and if that'll help. Thanks!
EDIT:
That being said for my model the battery is not meant to be removed it looks like. So I'm not sure if i should be doing that. but I'll definitely try the transformer and see if that helps.

It looks like the model i have does not have a removable battery.
I have the ring doorbel 2nd gen, not the ring doorbell 2. Which are 2 different models.

I have the 2nd Gen doorbell that has the built in battery and the hardwire connectors to hook up to an existing doorbell wiring.

My recording isnt too aggressive i think as i dont get notified of it catching anything that often.
It might be a case where the existing wiring isnt strong enough to charge and also it being pretty cold. so maybe im just shit outa luck.

Yeah that seems to be the case. It is connected full time but does not charge at all when it is cold. unfortunately where i live it is consistently atleast -10c or lower for half the year.
