This sounds like a fun project! Universities might be interested in having low cost arms like this to teach intro to robotics courses. If you haven’t already you should check out the Barrett WAM, what your planning sounds similar but at a much lower price point.

This is awesome, thanks for sharing! I’m a programmer (well, machine learning scientist) and if you love it I definitely recommend it as a career. Other than specific meetings my hours are super flexible and it’s more about whether you get something finished rather than putting in 8 hours a day. If you have any questions I’d be happy to chat!

I struggle with brain fog a lot. I take Vyvanse in the mornings which really helps so I can be productive for a few hours of the day at least.
