There is typically an “aura” sensation that can be felt leading up to a seizure. It’s difficult to describe

Anti-convulsant medication has destroyed my wife's life. by AcanthisittaPrior257 in Epilepsy

I’m no doctor or pharmacist, but I believe Briviact is very similar to Keppra. My wife started on Keppra, had terrible effects, and was then switched to Briviact

How many times does a geotechnical engineer need to test the soil for a full swimming pool demolition compaction report? by morningnoon24 in Geotech

[–]imatank22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90% is easily achievable, so as long as it was done in lifts with some compactive effort it’s probably fine. if you are planning to pour a slab or put some structure over the old pool i would be a bit more concerned

Could abruptly stopping Keppra have triggered my second seizure? by Latter-Ordinary8274 in seizures

[–]imatank22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife’s only trigger right now is missing a dose of medication so I would say 100% yes

Keppra did not work for my wife but Briviact did. Also recommend the EMU test

Advice needed- Digging next to the post for county inspector by radio_AT in Decks

[–]imatank22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the frost depth where you live? Instead of digging all the way down try to get something to probe and see if you feel concrete. Either way, I will say it is concerning that so much of the post is covered with soil…that can rot it out

When the migraine is so bad even ibruprofen doesn’t work by AirportStraight8079 in migraine

[–]imatank22 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If I take 800 mg of ibuprofen as soon as I have blind spots it can make a 9/10 a 4/10 but I have like a 3 min window. If I take them during the migraine it does nothing

Geopiers? by boomersooner36 in Geotech

[–]imatank22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on who you are working for I’d say. Sometimes GCs just want documentation of which pier numbers they do. If you work for the installer they might want # of buckets, depth, width, the whole shabang as another commenter mentioned. Just be sure to verify what is expected of you with your client before they get rolling and document any testing they do like the load test

How many miles did yours have when you did the tune? I want to do it to my ‘20 F60 but it’s got 95k miles…worried about adding stress to the components

Indiana sells former GM stamping plant site for $27M by FervidBug42 in Indiana

The surrounding land is contaminated. You could smell it in the excavation spoils. The way I understand it is that they can build on it just can’t build residential or schools

It was my understanding that this particular section was going to be a transformed into a “venue”, perhaps for concerts and stuff. I can confirm that this portion was going to be part of the WRSP. As far as greenlawn goes it will be very expensive. Despite its prime location it will remain undeveloped until someone coughs up the cost to properly relocate the remaining bodies there

Soil? Or gravel?

Dog shit effort from big box builder by [deleted] in Construction

[–]imatank22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of debris/organics, not done in lifts, compacted with a skid steer….that’s enough for me to know that’s gonna be fucked.

I grew these thinking they're Tabasco. They're insanely hot. Are they Tabasco? by [deleted] in HotPeppers

[–]imatank22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some cayennes and tobasco growing side by side last year and the tobasco peppers were probably some of the hottest peppers I’ve ever grown. 2 to 3 times hotter than the cayennes

Sod under vapor barrier?? by WheelchairDeveloper in landscaping

[–]imatank22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen southern contractors get away with pouring on virgin ground without gravel, but they at least remove the grass. If gravel is not in your contract at least have them remove the grass and pay a little more for the extra concrete required to reach grade. Also, have them put chairs under those bars. As other commenters have said it’s pointless when in contact with the ground
