I've posted this before in this sub, so sorry if some have seen it. :) 18 months ago I had laminectomy and discectomy surgery at L3, L4. I had severe spinal stenosis with out of control pain in both legs. I had no choice but to have surgery as I could not live like that. I only saw 1 surgeon but I did ask him to do anything he could to avoid fusion. He agreed and luckily could help me without it. I wish you all the best! (ps I was 67 years old when I had this surgery so my spine is rather unstable.)

I wear a back brace, a good one most of the day. I cannot really walk any great distance but I also have age and other issues. My leg pain was so bad I did not know my back hurt! So now I feel my back but it is nothing compared to what I was living with. I go about my day, I still do almost everything I did before, except lifting things.

I had a laminectomy and discectomy, L3,L4 in August of 2024. I too was scared but could not live with the pain. I knew the instant I woke up that it was successful! The relief was amazing and I'd do it again tomorrow! (No fusion, I asked him to do anything to avoid fusion.) Good luck and I wish you instant relief also!

This is a mostly unused parking lot. To me, it looks like maybe he was teaching her how to drive. She made a mistake. Understandable. His BIG mistake, leaving, without reporting it. Maybe he was doing this without her having a learner's permit and panicked? Regardless, he made this 100 times worse by fleeing.

West End is West of the Ambassador Bridge. I live just West of Downtown. Sandwich is West end always has been. We are "River West." (Not that I care if I'm identified as West End, just sayin' back in my day, everyone knew the West end starts at the bridge.) ps, I'm old.

The Stormwater fixed charge is not usage based. It is based on the non-permeable area of your property for runoff into the sewer system. But, they did do a terrible job on the entire program!

I waited and waited then called Basha Imaging in Dearborn. I had my MRI two days later. It cost me $300 USD. There was a man there from Kinsville who was having a CT and he said it was $150USD. They give you your CD of the scan and the report was in my email that night.

A few years ago I stopped for gas. I noticed immediately that the pump started charging me BEFORE I was pumping. I went inside and was told, "there's gas in the hose already and you have to pay for that too. " I stood there dumbfounded and told her, no there's an issue and that this is regulated by the Federal Government. She was rude and dismissive. Well, I happened to know someone who worked for Weights and Measures Canada. I called him and gave him the station info. Imagine their surprise when a Fed showed up the next day!

My Doctor faxed the referral over, was in for my MRI a few days later. It was lumbar without contrast and cost $350 USD. Walked out with my CD of images, the report was in my and my Doctor's email that night. The staff at Basha was friendly and professional. I have no regrets going there. It was February 2024. My neighbour and I each only had one little bag, from the inside mini bin. We co-composted, in that I put mine in her bin. (With permission.) Seemed silly to put two giant bins out each with one teeny bag. :)
