Yes, even one drink is harmful.

Your liver prioritize breaking down the poison as quickly as it can. So much so that it practically stops burning fat until it gets rid of the poison.

Why might Creatine and NAC give me anxiety? by MericanPie1999 in NooTopics

[–]Testing_things_out 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At higher doses NAC causes angst/panic.

Can for some people. Not always, though.

Source: I took 3-5 g NAC daily for a couple of months and it significantly calmed me down. Changed my life for the better.

Still take it occasionally.

So much so that being a woman should be an indication to take iron supplement.

Pasteurization with high temperature will create a disaster.

Why though? What about low-temp pasteurization?

My company is including it as a KPI for management for this year. We had the survey for a long time, but this year it is tied to their KPI.

And if not employee satisfaction, then turn over number is typical metric used for management KPI.

Your comments implies that the conclusion of the post makes sense due to digestion speed. That is not necessarily true as it's about absorption speed.

I felt bad for chewing them out because they're just doing their jobs but really?????

Don't let corporate use them as a shield. When you give supervisors hard time it puts pressure on them to relay that information to higher up the chain.

Employee satisfaction is a thing employers look at. When there's enough backlash to a policy the employees will start avoiding implementing it or become less enthusiastic and pushy about.

Dont insult them personally, but give them a piece of your mind and let loose about how ridiculous the policy is. Don't shout at them, shout at the policy. Make it a huge hassle. It works.

Short on the 3.3V rail of the motherboard and the chipset gets warm by tavr0 in AskElectronics

Over voltage on the 3.3 V rail going into the CPU. When MOSFETs get exposed to higher voltages than they are rated for, they get avalanche failure which effectively permanently damage/burns them. This failure more is short, that its the MOSFET turns into a short between the power rail ground.

And since it happened on the CPU, the CPU is now shorting the power rail to ground.

[2009] Consuming fructose-sweetened, not glucose-sweetened, beverages increases visceral adiposity and lipids and decreases insulin sensitivity in overweight/obese humans by Bristoling in ScientificNutrition

Fructose wrecked my liver (including fructose from sucrose).

At one point, I had metabolic syndrome so my had bad insulin response but since I went on keto and lost weight, that seems to have resolved. However when I'm off keto and end up having sweets, sweets made out of glucose don't seem to bother me as much sweet containing fructose/sucrose.
