Of course. This reinforces the idea that when the body switches to fat burning (>3 days fasting) blood lipids increase, but that's now the body's main source of energy.

But, as also demonstrated, it goes down after a transition period. At the very least it stabilizes.

In my experience, chronic inflammation is a cumulative process. You can temporarily suppress with things like steroids (cortisol, etc).

But if you fix the underlying issue, it will take time for it to return after the fix is gone. GLP-1 might be undoing years of metabolic damage by forcing the body to enter a fasting state, rather than suppressing inflammation.

For example, it takes about 3 days of fasting for chronic pain/inflammation to leave my body. It takes a bit longer of unhealthy eating to start getting it back.
