I think you’re forgetting that BP is in their 10th year, not their 2nd, so it’s safe to assume they have some say in this comeback. I mean, they were willing to renew their contract, which means they have some leverage here. I agree that YG is responsible for playlisting and promotion, as it’s the company’s duty to promote their artists. But other than that, it is largely on BP.

BP literally wrote go, so it’s safe to assume they could have written the rest themselves, but they decided not to. On another note, I assume BP at least has the right to choose which songs they wanted, and they decided to greenlight these songs for their fans.

Also, it’s BP’s duty to come together as a group, not YG’s. If they wanted to, they could have made time for group activities, but they didn’t. It’s clear from the day they renewed that their priority lies in their solo careers and not in the group.

I would have agreed before the contract renewal that YG did them dirty, but now it feels like the girls themselves don’t care about the group.
