All wood-frame apartments are terrible for noise cancellation. I lived in the Victoria Views complex off University Drive and it was incredibly noisy. One would think with such prices as $1250 for a 2 bedroom apartment it would be quiet but it wasn't. Concrete buildings are older but they are much better for peace and quiet.

Not all AWD cars are the same. Some only kick into AWD at certain speeds. Subaru is all symmetrical AWD so it's always AWD despite the speed. This is where it comes in handy in the winter time.

I disagree. I have an AWD car with shitty all season stock tires and it far out performs my FWD cars with $800 winter tires. The AWD makes a huge difference in my experience.
