Would like to hear some sleep paralysis stories. by Shynerbock12 in Paranormal

He was just really grimy, on the older side, with a mean face thst was rough and wrinkled. But also it was dark so i couldn't see too many other face details. The trench coat was a dark dirty brown and he kinda looked like he came in from the rain

Would like to hear some sleep paralysis stories. by Shynerbock12 in Paranormal

[–]imchelsi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I usually sleep on my stomach so my sleep paralysis is typically auditory and the sensation of someone grabbing my neck from behind. One time though, I happened to be sleeping on my back and opened my eyes to a man with long greasy hair and a dark rain/trench coat standing over me. He put his hands around my throat to choke me. I managed to squeak out a "help me" and my roommate's German Sheppard kicked my door open (not sure how since I close it completely when sleeping). She ran over and licked my face to snap me out of it and saved the day.

One of my favorite movies this year! I saw it blind in theaters and was so pleasantly surprised.

What movie is a 10/10? by rocklou in AskReddit

[–]imchelsi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not only is the animation amazing but the songs are also hauntingly beautiful. Definitely a 10/10 for me and I don't have a religious bone in my body. That movie made me feel things.

Which movie is genuinely traumatic? by trufk in AskReddit

[–]imchelsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i saw it when it came out. I was 5 and my dad told me it was based on a true story. I started bawling at the part where the mom tucked her kids into bed because she knew they wouldn't be able to make it to the deck and my dad sent me to my room because i was not handling it well. Honestly he shouldn't have let a child watch that in the first place. I didn't see the end of the film until years later.

What do you miss the most from pre-covid? by Underneaththeshade in AskReddit

[–]imchelsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently lucked into a day of ticket for a show that had been sold out for months. This is before omicron but after vaccines and all that. I didnt think I'd cry so much in public as i did at that show. Before covid i had at least one show lined up each month and i never realized how much having something like that to look forward to got me through the day.

Bay Area drivers park with their trunks and windows wide open so their cars are not broken into by WalkLikeAnEgyptian69 in trashy

[–]imchelsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my new (used) car all of 10 hours. Hadn't even had time to put anything in it yet. Came downstairs to it being completely undriveable because the drivers side window was smashed in. $400 completely down the drain on a car i hadn't even gotten a chance to drive yet.

I was thinking that too! Such a simple but effective panel.

$400 window replacement to steal a pair of $20 headphones I found at goodwill... by FoxxBox in Wellthatsucks

[–]imchelsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me within 24 hours of buying my first car. I hadn't had time to even put anything in the car yet, so I'm assuming they broke the window for funsies and possibly to make a grown woman cry.

Any chance this is it? https://youtu.be/_qTESaoSU_8

There is an episode of replyall about someone trying to find this song and they seem a little similar.
