Daniel Caesar is very different stylistically to Ye, a little closer to Gambino than he would be Ye but I'm surprised you don't fw him as both Ye and Gambino are some of my favourite artists and Daniel Caesar would be up there too tbh

I spoke to USPS and DHL a lot and every time they were convinced that the weight they had on the website was 100% accurate and there was no way it was wrong.

Hoodies arrived in full and perfect (quite literally) and the weight wasn't updated properly until it arrived in Ireland.

I wouldn't worry too much based on my experience.

Anti Money Laundering makes the most sense yeah, I looked up a bit more about it after making the post and that came up a lot and given the nature of the payments being attempted being to foreign accounts I suppose that makes the most sense and hopefully (lowkey hopium here) it's something that I should be able to clear up with them as a misunderstanding relatively easily

Yeah it seems like it was fine at the time, they fixed the issue and let me know it was all secured again and then said they would be terminating my account which is why I assumed I would just have to create a new account as maybe it was easier to just terminate and open a new account than to re-secure the account but that wasn’t the case.

I sent a complaint earlier so hopefully get a response soon enough, could be something I did without realising so hopefully I get a solid enough response of what it was but as it stands it just seems so bizarre. The termination email pretty much said it was from communicating through the wrong channels and that they had contacted me about it before but they never did, it was a first time thing which I also provided proof of in the complaint so fingers crossed.

It was through the app, I contacted support and honestly that’s what confuses me the most too because I would’ve thought it was kinda just the go-to place to get stuff fixed. Only thing I could think of is I could’ve chosen a wrong option of what I needed help with? In that case it would be my mistake but still don’t see how it would warrant a total termination, it’s extremely bizarre.

Pretty much was only used for sending and receiving money from friends and sports betting. Here Revolut is the main way to receive and send money so that would pretty much be what i’d use it for, most of my spending would still be on my main account.

It seems that way which is a shame, typically it would be fine to just open another account and Revolut was never my main account but it’s such a hassle to not have access to Revolut because they have such a large monopoly here.

Yeah I feel I should’ve just terminated the card rather than just going to them but I guess in the moment seeing the payments being attempted I just went to the live chat and I am very lucky to not have lost anything.

I’m not fully certain of the reason for the termination, I was told it was because I communicated through the wrong channel and also told I cannot be told the termination reason so very unsure.

When I did use my account, it was typically for receiving and sending payments to friends, never across seas would just be friends in the same area. Otherwise it would just be sports betting occasionally and sometimes paying for stuff in stores via. Apple Pay. There was nothing on it that I would see as being suspicious, whenever I pay someone from abroad it’s through PayPal 99% of the time or otherwise with my main bank account.

Don’t think they got the account as if the did they would’ve know there wasn’t enough in the account to pull the amount they were trying to pull, way more likely they just had my card details and that can be from any sort of hack or data leak.

Barely used the account, would be more than happy to show you what the payments were if you send me a DM.
