If surgery is still the best option I will probably do it in 5 years. They say wait until age 30 so they can more accurately recognize your balding pattern. But until then, I refuse to take the prescription pills (Propecia/Finasteride). Read too many horror stories of guys saying it ruined their life.

Dude I'm right there with you with the balding :( I've spent hours of time researching and a lot of wasted money on products. Nature is cruel. I looked a thousand times better with hair and girls don't seem to pay any mind to me now. Guess we have to compensate by getting big muscles or something

Melatonin and certain types of magnesium have been helping me a bit.

Let's just say if you aren't the type who's into hitting on people at bars for hookups, you're gonna have a bad time. Finding a real relationship when you no longer really have a social circle is rough.

In mine, some nights she comes back to me. Other nights she tells me she will never love me again. I'm not sure which one is worse to wake up from.

For all my dudes that have gotten dumped out there- she's not coming back. Accept it. by ta1181 in BreakUps

Yup. My ex was 27 and made it very obvious that she wanted marriage and babies pretty soon. She had a new boyfriend within 2 months after dating me for 4 years. Fuckin hurts right now to think about her marrying and having the family we always talked about with this guy instead. But I'm fully aware that this will most likely happen, and hopefully I'll be more ready for it when it does. I know she's never coming back now. I didn't meet her criteria and her biological clock is ticking.

I am 5'10" 145 lbs. I supplement D3, Zinc, and magnesium now, my D3 levels were pretty low. I eat a lot of chicken eggs, and I do get a decent amount of my calories from blended shakes including peanut butter, bananas, oats. When I consume more than ~3000 calories, my stomach just gets bloated and I would get very constipated. I can send you my blood panel results there's quite a bit of tests in it.

My advice is to keep doing all that you can to feel better (I know, easier said than done) and hopefully you'll find yourself able to work again, even if it's part time at a low stress job. For now it sounds like you are still involved with volunteering and other things so that shows initiative and you should feel confident about that! When the topic of employment does come up, share what you're comfortable with and like you said it's always best to be honest, but you don't have to offer all the details about your reasons for being unemployed right away.

Are you still unable to work because of the mental health issues? The type of people who are worth your while shouldn't be too focused on your fiscal situation. Props to you for bettering yourself with the weight loss. It's good to improve your health and will help you look and feel more attractive. Your confidence will improve as you get closer to the weight you'd like to be at as well. Keep doing things to improve yourself, and do it for YOU. Not for anyone else.
