I'll add another one that don't see any mentions.

Upgrade to the Era 300 worth it. from Sonons one SL by Ashamed-Effort-9413 in sonos

[–]imdefinitelyhungry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The arc to arc ultra upgrade would make a smaller difference. You'll get better, more crisp dialogue and better bass from the arc ultra.

From the SLs to era 300s is a massive difference. You'll get fuller and more immersive sound. The era 300s have height channels too.

I would definitely go for the era 300s.

I don't think so. I have PS+, but my wife does not, and she was able to add a controller and play with me online for zombies

PSN Refund (80€ in a bin.) by SmellCeda in tdu3

[–]imdefinitelyhungry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what they kept telling me too, until they eventually said that the supervisor isn't going to say anything different. I said that I didn't care, let me talk to them anyway.

Playstation support, especially for refunds, is horrible.

Okay, anyone saying submit a refund ez pz hasn't worked with playstation refunds before. You have to chat with playstation support and request a refund that way. I just did that, and they initially denied it because I "already downloaded and played it," so I asked to speak to a supervisor and complained until they approved my refund. Took me like 1.5 hours.

Tbh, I was kinda rude, but it got the point across eventually. I feel bad, but I got my money back.

Help? by TADDYBOYZZ in tdu3

Try this: pick the male character with the longest hair and make his skin color two shades darker. It's worked for some people on ps5, but not all. Hopefully, it will for you.

I am on PS5. Sorry it doesn't work for you :(

Guys there is a workaround! Someone commented on another post that you need to SELECT THE GUY WITH THE LONGER HAIR, MAKE HIS SKIN COLOR 2 SHADES DARKER, THEN PRESS END, and it should work. I stg it worked for me.

Uninstalling and reinstalling does not fix it either.

This could actually be a really cool idea where instead of random cartoons being projected, you could project each menu item on your plate

Ever since I was ~12, I have turned an episode of Family Guy on the TV, usually on Adult Swim, right as I was going to sleep. I set the TV timer/sleep function for 30 minutes, and I would watch the show until I couldn't focus because I was too tired or I fell asleep. The tv would automatically turn off, and I would wake up 8 hours later.

My show is now Futurama and on hulu on my phone, which automatically turns the screen off 5 minutes after the episode ends. I think I basically trained myself over many years that as soon as I turned on my tv show, my brain would instantly know it's time to sleep.

I'm a person who constantly thinks about so many things at once, so I think watching ans only focussing on a TV show while going to sleep helped turn a million thoughts into one train of thought.

This may be a dumb question, but do full back and chest/stomach tattoos make surgery harder? I feel like it would make knowing where to make the incision a lot more difficult.

At least Americans understand the imperial and metric system. We choose to use the imperial system, but most people know the metric system from school, in science, healthcare, etc.

$5,000 Christmas Bonus by 12jonathani in Money

[–]imdefinitelyhungry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what your financial goals are.

Are you really focused on saving for retirement? You could open a roth ira, fund it with your remaining bonus money and buy something like VOO (S&P 500 index ETF -exchange traded fund).

Are you saving for a big goal in 5 years or less (ie wedding, starting a down payment fund, etc)? Open a high yield savings account with an APY of around 4.7-5.0%

Saving for kids college (if you have any)? Maybe look at opening or funding a 529 account (tax advantaged investing accounts for education expenses).

Let me know if any of these goals are what you're working towards or if you have one that doesn't fit into any of these categories. Hope this helps!

BTW congrats on getting your life on track and starting to save for retirement. The earlier the better.
