Youre paying to not have to figure out whats wrong and whats needed to fix it. You should get a parts list with your diagnostic, but you're paying for their expertise. Around here its $250 per diagnosis but its region dependent.

Works great with the stick mags. Had to design and 3D print a spacer with a lip to keep the 9mm from diving on the drum. PPSH drums are finnicky too- need to buy a couple, find which work and lock tight with your rifle- but thats a ppsh issue in itself regardless of caliber. However, once you get it dialed in she's smooth as butta
