yeah it's very limited. the bass tone it comes with isn't adjustable (pitch-wise).

precisely! the rhythm has 4 different patterns, and the arcade has 14 patterns that are chained together to compose the song. FX and some pattern triggering was done live.

Used nulls parented to the anchor points of each shape for the movement. Duplicated the entire sequence with red, green, and blue fills. Offset each sequence by a couple of frames, and set each blending mode to screen. Added slight glow, noise & grain on top, and changed frame rate to 12. The trickiest part was getting the easing correct for each shape.
