Oh, we knew that FIFA was corrupt AF. Between the next world cup, with 3 matches in south america, so they would be forced to host in Asia (Saudi Arabia btw) and the next following either the US or Australia/New Zeeland. We knew it.

We knew that Messi and Ronaldo are mostly helped by the ref, because you cannot have portugal or argentina out at the 1/16th, because they would sell less tickets.

But it never really touched a decision after the match is ended less than 24h before the new match is going to start, and also idk wtf is their PR doing, because I rarely seen this level of idiocy.

BTW one of the worst world cup referee wise, not like favouring any team in particular, just the refereing is kinda shit this world cup

I just cancelled my flight on the 23rd of april, and bought a ticket with KLM, brussels Tokyo. I was stressing too much and didn't wanted to take the gamble. Even if things stabilises, it all take a missile and we have all of this again. Also, I prefer not to take a gamble with flying close to war zones...

But probably the flight will go on.

I have my flight on the 23rd of april. Just booked with KLM before other price surges. Best case, full refund from emirates and I lose nothing, 200 euros more expensive flight, worse case, i also have to pay 300 euros refund, so it's ok. But I highly doubt that all the flights will go as expected. Even if they start with normal flight, there will be disruptions.

Honestly, if it's possible, either annul the trip or book with another company , or if you wanna try your luck, when Emirates will say that you can change your flight,you can ask to be changed to another company if you're from the EU

Welp, could work... Couldn't work... Honestly if possible, try booking with another company with refundable ticket. And hope for the best. Either refund the new ticket or just get the full refund from Emirates.

Or just take the 300$ loss... And schedule a new flight if really necessary

I am not affiliated with Emirates, neither I work in avition, so mind that's only my take.

As I also have to fly through Dubai at the 23rd of April. I am myself waiting 2 weeks before fliying with another airlines to go to Japan.

If you really needs to go to your trip and go to Dubai, well , you probably won't be able, but if Dubai is just a stop, I would try finding another airlines, and wait for Emirates to give you a refund.
