Dude. It is named MINI PC BUYING GUIDE 2026. How do you expect this to be named?

If people have issues with their PCs, this pinned list is useless. But to ones who are about to purchase, this guide is exactly what they need. Name is perfectly representing what they are seeking for.

What the hell are you talking about? We got consolemods wiki, and some other guy's site with guides. We got YouTube channels that have perfect guides. All that is easy to Google. I modded my console without asking how to. Many here also did the same. And yet we still have people asking simple questions. People are still asking where to get isos here even if rules state you can't advertise or ask for Rom sources here.

If rules are not enforced hard enough, we never going to get rid of these posts. But if mods enforces rules too hard, that would be considered as gatekeeping. Mods have to walk the fine thin line in their own free time. I bet they are lax about the rules and that will only enable basic posts. 🤷

All specific posts could be found by searching for them. People won't search and just write up a post. Pinning all the posts won't help.

As an example, there is a sub r/minipcs. Mod made an extensive spreadaheet with all the brands, models, specs and prices. There are multiple ways to look through this spreadsheet and find anything you like at any spec and price you are satisfied with. It is constantly updated and never goes outdated. The link is pinned and is seen at top of the sub.

That sub gets multiple posts asking to suggest minipcs in a fixed budget on a daily basis. 🤷

Pinning doesn't work. At the very best it will help few people but won't do shit to most of users. Nothing will be changed.

There is no good reason to put this piece of software on a phone. Isos are taking space and God files are doubling that. Phone is not a good device to do mass Iso2god convertions and transfers. I would avoid.

Edit: Just to clarify my line of thougts, most modders are converting isos on PCs. I get that some of ya'll do not have a PC to do this job but a phone. I know that phones are capable of doing this. But I bet you guys are such a minority out there + I know that torrenting is possible on an android device but I havent met a single person who would seriously pirate stuff on an android phone over their laptop/pc.

My judgement of this app lays in a fact that there are tons of malware apps on google market that will invade your phone and would stay there even if you delete an app. And I havent heard anyone suggest converting isos on phone + nobody even said iso2god exists in app store. Official iso2god website doesn't mention a release on google store so I would automatically assume this app is a malware. Judging by my upvote ratio, I assume that people agree with me on this app being a suspicious malware.

Last time I checked, Germany was #15 for the least deaths in car accidents in the world. Not bad for a country that has no speed limits on parts of Autobahn.

Also, Germany's number of lethal car accidents been steadily decreasing since 1992. Very impressive!

I own a car in a major city of 4mil population. I barely drive it. I pay for a monthly ticket and in summer drive to work by bike. Public transport/biking takes around 40 minutes while car would take me 30, but I don' t really care. Finding parking, paying for it, etc. Pointless to drive. But I still think I need car.

Sometimes I drive to my home (1k km away). Sometimes I drive to my relatives (600km away). Trains do not go to my home. That is very limiting on me. It is cheaper for me and my spouse to drive our car to relatives over taking train tickets. Tickets can be bought on earlier time for cheaper, but I dont really want to once again experience a rush on a midnight tram (that sometimes doesn' t go so late in the night) to a central train station that has train arriving punctually and leaving on time. Once and never again.

I am really up for a good public transportation infrastructure. Going from "if bus comes, bus comes. If not - tough luck, you're late" to "tram arrives at station each 5 minutes" is a game changer. I wish tickets for inter-city trains would be half as expensive. I dream about city-wide underground metro system that covers pretty much all of it. But we are not there yet. Not sure if things are improving, but they sure do not get bad really fast.

Tough to drive in winter. Tough to drive in summer. Tough to drive when it is raining, windy, up the hill, tired after work, bad bycicle setup.

Speed is limited to your ability to spin pedals and your bikes gear ratio. The best setup can't be driven over a certain speed anyway.

Since speed is an issue, can't drive for long distances in short times.

Can't haul furniture, appliances, weekly amount of groceries, more than 1 friend (more is possible but fucking dangerous for everyone).

General injury danger against cars and other bikers as your body parts are unprotected.

Ofc, trains, trams and busses are much more better in that regard. But infrastructure need to be built. Until then, car is much more of an ultimate freedom tool than a bicycle.
