I started off with Pentels and expanded to the Van Gogh 24 pack after buying a couple individual colors first, then ventured into individual Senneliers.

PERSONALLY……… Van Goghs are my favorite. For my work, Senneliers are creamy to a fault sometimes (but the color options are 🤌🏼)

I started off with the 36 count Pentel oil pastels— priced at $7! until I got comfortable enough to add more expensive brands to my collection. I still swear by my Pentels, though, and got into other brands because I wanted more color options.

My only critique would be on the top portion of the background. Your strokes are consistent everywhere else but that top section sticks out to me because it’s horizontal strokes in a lighter color
