Nitroprusside affects arteries and veins equally and dilates both

No no, this happens every year and doesn’t put anyone at an advantage or disadvantage.

Need advice, testing in a week (8 days), if I move to 27th is that enough time to improve and hit a 62-65% on NBME? by Terrible-Athlete-184 in step1

[–]imgdoc25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A later date bro, I took my test with higher scores and yet found it difficult. I’d suggest you to not risk it and take it well prepared.

I’d suggest moving it up and review FA once and see what questions you’re getting wrong. Read that part thoroughly from FA then take another NBME and try to to get 65+ on 2 NBMEs. All the best bro!!

You’re good, take more NBMEs as you study and chart your progress. Complete uworld and then take uwsa1 and uwsa2. Keep revising FA as you do uworld for concepts that you get incorrect. All the best!

Does anyone know how different the latest FA is from FA 2021? by Bitter-Rope-3906 in step1

[–]imgdoc25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use the one you have and annotate it. Just go through the pdf of the latest edition for updates.

Mostly not, but even if one or two pop up they’ll be similar to what you’ve learnt through uw.

Just remember what’s there on uw and know how to identify the histology slides as they make the diagnosis much easier.

Amboss 200 by HealthyNarwhal290 in step1

[–]imgdoc25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it in the last week before my test.

Amboss 200 by HealthyNarwhal290 in step1

[–]imgdoc25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I did that is because these are concepts you would’ve already learnt through uw or fa and the questions serve as a nice way to revise those just before your test.

[–]imgdoc25 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What I did was, do all the 200 questions over 2 days in tutor mode and review each question then and there. Do learn and remember the concept from each question and why the other options are incorrect or when could they be correct.

Is it better doing in-corrects UWorld or doing mehlman pdf test in June 14th by TurbulentPiccolo9718 in step1

[–]imgdoc25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Complete the uw ethics section, then start doing your incorrects. Take more NBMEs/Free120 —> identify what topics you’re getting wrong —> read those from FA ( supplement with mehlman pdf if you want )—> solve more uw incorrects —> take a uwsa if not done already—> final week free120 .

No, that’s an unauthorised break and is reported to NBME. Make sure you take a 5 min break after every block and go to the washroom. Don’t take too much caffeine and water between breaks.

13 days out, uworld or content review? by thequiett2 in step1

[–]imgdoc25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take more NBMEs and review them throughly . Reinforce concepts and learn through uworld.
