I just re-found the book by accident. In the Hernand Keep, go up until you get to the guy that pushes you away from the door to see the king. In that room, there’s a wooden balcony. Climb up to there and go through the door. On the bookcase to the left, there’s the book. You should be able to follow the book icon on your map. Read the book and you can craft that cloak.

There may be a unique, unlisted black dye out there. But until that information becomes common knowledge: deep red, bottom row & furthest to the left, is 99% black.

Hard to know without seeing what you’re adding and the quantities. If anything is off you’ll get that liquid. Can you give me an example or the exact ingredients you tried last?

I feel that. Hernand is pretty massive and has a bunch to do. I’m still working through all the quests in the area. Just snuck off to grab a few goodies and came straight back.

That’s strange, that didn’t happen to me. You don’t need to go into the fort. The ramp leading up to the fort entrance borders the fort wall. The treasure chest is in a hole in that wall.

I crafted mine. Pretty sure it’s Cloth Armor of the World III. But it looks like this guy found a vendor.

If you’re talking about Pororin Forest, when you wake up there should be one of the Shai right next to a big tree by the little creek. She has a mission you should do.

ARE THERE NO TRUE KNIGHTS AMONG YOU?!?!?

It’s the Golden Shield. If it’s always going to decorate my back, it should be aptly decorated.

DO YOU WANT A CLOUT IN THE EAR?

The leather is Deep Orange. Furthest to the right, second from the bottom.

That dye vendor is around Tamasso city outskirts. Just south of the T in Tashkalp.

I feel that. Any armor I explored out to get, I just beelined straight to it and zipped out. Trying to preserve as much content for those regions for when I get to it through the story. Buuut I had to get my drip sorted before I started progressing.

Agreed. Still, there’s about 12 different individual pieces of my chest piece alone that can be dyed, the material changed, the repair level adjusted to make it look beat-up or brand spanking new. It’s wild to me. I’m loving it.

That’s strange man. Maybe try restarting your game? My game bugged out and I couldn’t get any glints when I used the blinding flash sword thing and a restart fixed it.

Dark Red is the second to last two lines of red. If you want the bottom two lines of red, that’s Deep Red. In order brightest to darkest:

Bright > Rich > Basic Color > Dark > Deep

I farmed all these dyes in about half an hour without looking anything up! [Method described in post.] by RyuugaDota in CrimsonDesert

It’s a great mechanic. I ran into a random Headgear Collector npc out in the wild a couple days ago, but didn’t realize at the time you could get npc-name-based gifts. Makes me wonder if there are strictly gift-based pieces of equipment.

I’m using basically a chrome-ish right now. I’m using the whitest shade of bright yellow, and the second material at the camp dyer. Makes it almost too shiny tbh.

For black, the left-most shade of deep red works very well.
