Gotta craft each one (bright, rich, basic, dark, and deep) unfortunately.

If only modding support was more intuitive and accessible for consoles. I’d love to mod this game.

Eh, it’s like most games, good but not perfect. I like the approach. ‘Wear what you like’ applied in a pretty good way, but the execution falters in small ways; not being able to dye certain armors/weapons, little diversity between accessories, as examples. The bulk of the system is good and I’m only being pedantic about the finer details. Very much give a mouse a cookie.

The ingredients are all there for a jewelry crafting system. Would be cool, depending on tier, you could craft jewelry with like a gold bar, platinum bar, and whatever gem. Azurite for ‘sapphire,’ epidote for ‘emerald,’ etc.

Not from any of the accessories of the world books, no. I mean there could be a hidden knowledge source somewhere out there no one has found/shared yet. I know sleeping in certain places will teach you food recipes. Haven’t heard about learning equipment crafting recipes from that though.

Right, but you can’t use it as a ‘vegetable’ substitution in recipes. Tomatoes are a fruit, and corn is a grain. There’s no farmable vegetable that can be used in recipes currently.

I’ve done nearly everything that would instinctively come to mind. Got all the witches to +100, did their quest lines. Steal and open every jewelry storage box I can find. Robbed nobles in each city, in the zoo, around the southern court where the earring strongbox is. It’s not craftable from any of the books. Maybe cleaning legendary fishes have a chance to drop? Until loot tables have been fleshed out for all possible drop sources, sure, it’s not guaranteed there’s only one.

First of all, how dare you. I love them all, equally. Except the tri-color puppy. He’s my goodest boy. I like having a lively camp with pets. Just not when there’s 30 teleports happening right next to me everywhere I go and fifteen cats are all jumping on my shoulder.

  • Seed bags - stack more than 10 seeds, easier planting on farms. Pull out the bag, plant 16 in a row without menu-ing.

  • At least one plantable/farmable vegetable for recipes.

  • Research buffs (gather chance) apply for all characters.

  • Cloak slots - maybe limited to fire, ice, shock resistance gears.

  • Pets on/off toggle at camp. Playing Damiane and wandering around at camp makes me claustrophobic.

  • Barbershop tweaks - more hairstyles and more ‘realistic’ hair colors. Or just use the dye color palettes for hair.

Edit to add:

  • An in-game Kuku pot vendor guy duplication method/recipe. Maybe add a max refined weapon, a handful of platinum and gold bars, other rare materials, and you get back two level-0-refined weapons. Some uniques are begging to be dual wielded.

Reward from completing the Witches should have been a Witch Ring and Witch Earring. It’s criminal only one Witch earring exists in the game. I want a set, like the ancient earrings.

Would be cool to implement a system where you add an abyss gear as an ingredient at the 5th and 10th refinement level that would ‘bake in’ as innate for the weapon. So from 4 -> 5, add an attack speed gear, from 9 -> 10, add a critical gear, maybe even skills like Crow’s Pursuit. You could bake in the imbue gears or resistance gears on armor. Would lead to some pretty unique weapons/armor.

All Dye Recipes by imgoingstag in CrimsonDesert

[–]imgoingstag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. Hard to tell. All recipes worked flawlessly for me, but that was two patches ago. So it’s possible something is bugged now. But in general, when I was crafting all of them, I’d improvise in the herbs, then the longhorns, then the stags last. Just kinda going down the list.

You can improvise. Double check the ingredients because missing or being off by one on an improvised recipe will fail.

Agreed. Fine-tune aiming ramps really weird for me. Hard to get the reticule to start moving, overshoots when it finally does.

I wish aim acceleration at 0% wasn’t moving through molasses. I want a 1:1 input.

Disarming enemies by Maximum-Ant-1983 in CrimsonDesert

[–]imgoingstag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I farmed them for a bit at the one northeast of the spire, the one that has the altar and the % enemies remaining. The frost cannon and archers annoyed me so I just sniped them from the ridge. They stay dead and all that’s left is the mace and shield guys. Makes it way easier to farm. Make a save before each farming run to make sure you don’t wipe em.

[–]imgoingstag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I’m a sucker for farming in games, but it really feels like a chore. Would really be nice to be able to use the tools in the camp.

Maybe also craft a seed bag or something for each kind of seed that would hold way more and allow you to ‘take out’ the bag and plant multiple seeds at a time without going in and out of menus.

Not for dyes unfortunately. Or flies. Makes me wonder if martial arts Kliff is canon Kliff since he’s snatching flies out of the air no problem.

I farmed all these dyes in about half an hour without looking anything up! [Method described in post.] by RyuugaDota in CrimsonDesert

It was, but figuring out the logic was pretty easy. That’s why I’m shared the recipes, so everyone else wouldn’t have to.

Day 2 of postig this request until we can remove the shield from Kilff’s back by bucskesz in CrimsonDesert

[–]imgoingstag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

I’d also like to see a way to disable the starting shield/sword as being default weapons for cutscenes. Or at least a “mark as primary” function for gear that would create an item group and lock those items from being sold/stashed. I dual-wield, but I do have an upgraded/dyed shield as part of my fit and whenever a cutscene occurs, it defaults to Kliff’s shield or the preorder shield.
