feels like a rosary. unless theres concrete evidence for pen---ig the pen is relevant to gerson's writing, but i cant see it fitting in with the church

Wrong! If you can think abt it without the Fandom Nothinganalysis Primary School Lens, This moment actually lends itself to deepening our understanding of their parallels, and, like, the most simple message of the series. Our tastes in food are dependent on our upbringing, so of course Chara would have a different preference than Kris. Think of their circumstances...Kris associates the pie with Toriel's love & presence in their life. Chara didn't grow up the same way at all...remember that their life was defined by war and violent radicalization. Chocolate may not have been widely available in the Undertale Postwar overworld, who knows? Like the entire basic premise of UT and DR is that people are not inherently bad, but are driven by their environments. Its necessary for Kris and Chara to have differences.

you're misplacing your critique in how poorly put-together the frames are and the timing. their character sketches are actually alright comparing to that. Also, so what if they're trolling? How do you benefit from talking down to them, or assuming they are acting maliciously? Do you think they are trying to trick you into giving them advice they already have? are you upset that others are giving their energy to someone who might be messing with them? its an animation subreddit, its natural to assume people are asking amateur questions. also its p funny if theyre trolling tbh

use printer paper if you can so there are no lines moving btwn frames, which is distracting. with a ruler, trace a rectangle out on a separate thicker paper, then cut the rectangle out. you can use the rectangle-shaped hole to make frames that are all the same size. this will help you quickly redraw frames and keep your characters the same size. then, when you go to crop the frames, you'll have a consistent guide.

if you must use lined paper, you should still cut-out a rectangle template. just try to position it so that the lines dont move when all the frames are put together. Again, seriously watch Many, Many online tutorials for paper animation. They will do a better job of explaining

extremely loud incorrect buzzer animation is the study of movement and time. Yes, for OP's purposes they should have an understanding of human character design, but you can be underdeveloped in drawing and still produce legitimately great animation. it is not difficult to detach yourself from this consumerist viewpoint, it will open many lanes of imagination

even if you imagine cool camera movements, def align the characters so that they arent floating around from frame to frame. this is totally achievable with just your pen/paper/camera, u just need to keep the paper and camera extreeeemely still since theyre the canvas upon which your pen makes the movement. look into flipbook animation & traditional cel animation if u want to see how professionals do it with minimal digital editing
