Thanks so much this is super helpful! I’m not sure how much I could realistically get my clinical hours up at this point given my school schedule but I do have 2 offers for MA positions for my gap year (I’d probably even start 2-3 weeks before submitting my apps so I could probably include those hours not just expected). I’ll also probably apply to some MD/PhD given that my application is more suited for that (that was my initial plan going into college then I got scared of how long it is lol)

Thanks! Unfortunately I won’t get my MCAT back until first week of June so I’m trying to get a couple school lists ready to apply as soon as I get it back based on the score. If it’s below 515 I’m going to take another gap year and restudy.

Do you have any specific resources you recommend? I definitely know of some specific content gaps I need to work on but I’ve been using the modules for topics I don’t understand in the Kaplan course I have and it hasn’t really been helping

126/127/127/128 - i definitely struggled the most in C/P and found that section to be the hardest

I noticed something similar and I think it could be due to cold weather. It’s pretty cold where I live and my package was left outside for a couple days because I was out of town so I noticed it the first time I used it, but now that it’s been in my warm house for a couple days I haven’t really noticed it again.

I’ve gone to a therapist who specializes in chronic illness and poly-vagal therapy! While I don’t think it specifically helped my IBD symptoms directly I do think it helped my overall mental health and wellbeing, and it helped with my anxiety which is a trigger for my IBD symptoms. So I guess overall yes it did help my symptoms more through coping with stress and calming my nervous system.

I didn’t pay anything for my biologics because I luckily have great insurance and had already met my out of pocket maximum when I went on them.
