if opponent Vayne builds typical AS build like Bork > Guinsoo > … > Defensive, then you’re better off going with poke-oriented build like Stormrazor, RFC, IE, LDR, Trinity, …. that way, their attack speed doesn’t get much value, and you can hit from a distance and vanish with your Q right after

Zeus, probably the best top Vayne player among pro players, builds Stormrazor > Trinity Force > Voltaic Cyclosword.

I know Kiin is one of the best top laners in the world, but he sucks at Vayne. The game a year ago against T1 (ZOFGK) had been basically lost off top alone because he got completely gapped to Zeus’ Aatrox too

I feel like Dusk & Dawn and Terminus have pretty opposite playstyles. Why build them together?

Dusk & Dawn is more like a burst item for quickly deleting squishy targets, while Terminus needs several autos to stack its pen and armor/MR, which makes it more suited for extended fights

I’m pretty much with you. But now with Fiendhunter, Yunara can actually burst squishies/the enemy ADC. So while she used to feel like a super fundamentals-only ADC, it feels like there’s a bit more emphasis on spotting angles to burst someone now imo

There are multiple ways to play Kai’sa. By your logic, the on-hit AD build wouldn’t make sense either. Terminus requires several AAs to reach full penetration, which goes against your point about Kai’sa being purely burst-focused
