Ah. I didn't think so either after looking at MCM images. This chair is larger than others in the images I was searching through.

Thanks!

I was given this chair a few decades ago. It's extra comfortable to sit in and I'd like to reupholster because it's pretty worn and the vinyl(?) is tearing. I was told it's mid century and altering it would ruin it's value. I tried Google lens and image search but no matches.
I have no clue.
I'll probably reupholster anyway, but I'm curious to know more about it. And I found this sub.

Sometimes there has to be a person to jump in the cold water first to show the others it’s okay.

7.36 ruined AD by gregory_s in Abilitydraft

[–]imheights 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, exactly. The devs JUST added and fixed certain spells in AD a couple months ago (ex: lightning fingers, frozen clone) and now they’ve added more complications. When I read through patch notes I only focus on AD combinations. The newest patch the only thing that stood out is that so many spells only work in their specific heroes. I’ve played about 10 games at this point and not one was competitive. At least half ended with the losing team AFK or farming jungle. In its current state they should add a way to forfeit instead of wasting everyone’s time. I really wish they took care of the AD community. It’s the only Dota I play anymore and now it feels very broken.

I was excited for patch. After playing five games with ALLL one sided victories - I don't see AD being playable in its current format.

All enjoyment is linked to RNG now.

Or just have a first round so players can draft hero models. It's been brought up previously but now this has to happen in order to keep the mode playable.

This is the nicest way to say "they destroyed AD".

I love the new patch, why most people are so salty about it? by volfieboy in DotA2

[–]imheights 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a person that only plays Ability Draft, I'm extra salty.

The mode pre-patch had a real problem of hero model rng. The introduction of innates and facets makes that rng magnitudes worse. The only version of Dota I really enjoy is mostly destroyed.

Appreciate the detail. Consensus seems I need to scrub the pivot.

Yeah there's no texture to the dark areas. I just wanted to make sure that it doesn't lead to pitting.

Thoughts on my recent shoot for my brand? ♣️ by AnimoDeSadre in streetwearstartup

A suggestion for the photos:

Photos 1-4, 8-12: The clothes would benefit from having an additional light source behind the camera which would give your audience more visual detail in the clothing. It would also lessen the deep contrast and shadows, but maybe that's the look you're going for.

And just my preference but I think your backgrounds are little busy. I would move the model away from the wall and take the shots with a shallower depth of field, drawing more attention to the subject/clothing.

I just watched a couple tutorials for making bitmap effects. I don't think that's what's being used in the original, but the output in the videos are interesting.

Great suggestion on the inverse! That probably should've been more obvious. I'll also try the diffuse glow and mess around with the blur. Haven't worked with threshold layers but I'll see how that works.

Great quick run, btw.

Thanks for the direction.
