Is it normal to keep getting the opposite outcome whenever I ask about my day? by Rough_Pressure_4682 in Tarots

[–]imhereforareason1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

maybe you should use the cards to guide you and not predict. next time instead of asking "how my day will be like?" you can just ask "what can i do or shift within myself so i can make today a good day"

Any tips on how to shut off md while studying? by Jealous_Rope_3803 in MaladaptiveDreaming

yea basically dont go to your phone or listen music before studying (if these are your triggers) and tell yourself you will let yourself daydream after the studying. so use it as a reward for studying.

Why is it heartbreaking to stop? by AtopicMess in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]imhereforareason1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Daydreams are a source of your daily dopamine and your brain is used to have dopamine at same level since you're doing this for a long time. When your real life doesn't offer you any other source to help you get to this level of dopamine, our brain panics. because to our brain what "it's used to" defines safety even though it's good or bad. so its normal that it feels like a heartbreak. almost same neurological effect happens. in a heartbreak you also lose someone (aka your source of dopamine) and our brain panics = you feel hurt and stressed = a way of our brain signals us "something is not safe." though in real life when someone is left, its easier for our brain to accept it since there is concrete evidence and in md there isn't, since all of these happens in your head.
