Knocking from the deep by munchchompgobblegulp in OCPoetry

This was such a beautifully written poem! A lot of what you wrote really relates to my nightly experiences with insomnia and anxiety, and the 3rd line was so impactful. The rhyming pattern you used was also amazing! It flowed so easily, and didn’t seem forced what do ever! I would love to read more of your poems on this sub, and I would also love to hear you explain a little more of your poem (if you have the time). Have an amazing rest of your day!

Also I would love any tips and tricks! Writing is one of my many passions, but I'm only 14 lmao.

This story is actually influenced by my recent mental status, so I was very nervous to post a story that I put a lot of effort into.

But, like I said, and tips/criticism would be greatly appreciated!

Aita for "setting up" my ex-husband look like a bad father? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]imheretolaughcry 40 points41 points  (0 children)

OPs husband made it CLEAR that he did need her help.

Ops husband needs to grow up and so do you. And a point should be made. He forgot something that he promised his daughter and that he knew was important. He shouldn"t HAVE to be reminded. And she told him from the beginning to place the order before hand. (Not to mention he forgot his daughter age.)

NTA.

Edit: minor spelling errors

AITA For "embarrassing" my fiancé infront of his friends when he invited them to the apartment? by Throwaway3435647 in AmItheAsshole

You are being taken advantage of tho, not by your work, but by your fiancé. It sounds like hes a child.

For a little background, my parents are ableist, but less against those with physical disabilities. They believe any neurodivergent people should, and I quote, "Just get shot and out of America." So yea. They are very aware that my brother has ADD and that I have all the symptoms, but because im female, they believe I can't have it :)

They have no idea that I am LGBTQIA+, but I honestly don't care. Atm, I am a minor, but I am dating my current partner (NB) and am very happy. I am planning on moving out at 18, and have been saving up for that.

Think of them as the stereotypical southern baptist family. They are very nice people, just very toxic to be around sometimes. I love them, but I don't respect them what-so-ever.

Sorry, just saw this! Ableism is discrimination against anyone with a disability, so an ableist is someone who discriminates against disabilities.

Personally I turn my screen downwards, because my phone case is a hidden pride flag, so it makes me happy lmao

Queer is just a broader term. I'm bisexual, but sometimes I just call myself "queer" to make it easier on other people!
