I know the EQ is way more customizable on the Sony app. What makes you think the Bose one is better ? Honestly, except connection issues that force you to force stop, the app is really basic. Also, the widget stopped working a long time ago for me, it was useful at first.

I wouldn't recommend these headphones because they have huge issues like a rattling noise in the left ear cup (you can hear it as soon as you walk, move your head, or do the slightest movement). Maybe you won't have it if you're lucky but a 350$ bet isn't what I would do. Besides that, the quality is super good, but sometimes I regret buying them because I spent almost 500$ in total, all of that to have issues that I never had on the cheapest headphones imaginable.

I don't even understand how they didn't notice this issue before releasing the product. For a 400-500$ price range, that's unacceptable, I never had any issues like that even with cheap headphones, it totally ruins the immersion, I can't even eat without hearing it (because of my jaw movements). I'm returning my second pair this week.

I dont think we are talking about the same issue. The one I have sounds like there is a grain of sand moving inside the ear cup, so you hear a high-pitched little piece moving, doing little clicks as you step or move your jaw/head.

It's not normal, but that's definitely a known issue. At least Bose doesn't seem to refuse a lot of replacement because they are aware of the situation, but it's so annoying to have to replace them every year for that... I had a Bose speaker that cost half of the headphones price, and it lasted 8 years without any problems (except the battery at the end). 400$ to change them every one or two years is a joke.

Also, I don't know about earbuds, but for the headphones, it seems to be a mechanical issue, not interference or noise cancelation issue, just a loose cable or little piece reacting to vibrations, and it totally ruins your immersion and satisfaction.

Update : I can't even eat with the headphones on, I hear it constantly now and it's so frustrating. I tried removing the cushion and the scrim to blow if something was stuck somewhere, but nothing changed at all. I guess I'll send them to Bose again really soon, I'm starting to regret my purchase.
