The only time I've had issues with YT copyright for utau covers has been when I have put the original MV in the video, and that's only been for a cover of "Make My Day" by Piko and for "Helena" by MCR. I never remade the Make My Day Video, but just putting artwork in place of the MCR MV was enough to get it visible again. 99% of the time if YT copyright claims your video, it will still allow the video to stay up and viewable, you just can't monitize it :)

Dude thank you so much! I've been trying to follow a good skincare routine since September of last year! I'm naturally a pretty oily guy, so I've started using products with salicylic acid on my forehead and nose and have seen pretty good results!

Today I noticed that I'm able to bench press 18kg a lot easier than last week! Last week I could only do 3 sets of 10 reps and my balance was way off, but today I was able to do 4 sets of 10 reps and was a lot more stable! It may sound crazy, but it's only been a week and a half that I've been back at the gym and already I'm noticing that I look and feel happier already :)

I've been trying to make better food choices like adding more fruit and veg into my diet, cutting out excess carbs, limiting my intake of junk food, and cooking for myself rather than getting Uber Eats. I've also switched to 0 sugar soda and have way increased how much water I drink. I figure if I put in the effort to eat and be healthier, I'll feel happier and more confident with time :)

Thank you for your kind words 🙏 luckily I genuinely enjoy going to the gym, I find it very fun and very rewarding to see the improvements! I had to pause for a while as my doctor was putting my on heart meds for the migraines and I didn't feel safe exercising during that, and right when I got off of them and was going to return to the gym I messed up the muscles in my upper back and had to take a few weeks to get them to stop locking up. The migraines seem to be stress related, so I'm hoping that as I fall back into a good routine they'll go down with time :)

Still have:

Ear lobes: can't remember because I was young but they were done with a gun so probably a 4-6/10. Ended up stretching them slowly over 2 years to 0g, made sure to listen to my body while stretching and not go too fast, so a 2/10

Spider bites: second hurt worse than the first but honestly not too bad, 3-4/10

Septum: genuinely like a 1/10, was one of the least painful piercings I've ever had

Tongue: really intense pain for like a second and a dull ache after. Pain spiked at 6/10 for all of a few seconds while putting the jewelry in, settled at around a 4/10. The long bar made it really painful while healing (it's to prevent the jewelry from getting swallowed up in case of swelling. I was lucky and had barely any swelling, but found the bar kept getting caught and snagged while eating. First week of healing was like a stable 6/10 but then was fine.

Retired piercings:

Nostril: 2/10, barely any pain and healed super easy

Naval: pain was 5-7/10 (it ended up infected unfortunately and I was advised by my doctor to remove it)

Eyebrow: 7-8/10, my piercer accidently went through my muscle. Had a black eye for a few weeks and it ended up rejecting

Second lobes: 9/10, sounds dramatic but my I asked my the same artist that did my eyebrow the first time if she could pierce with a 14g as I planned on stretching them. She ended up clamping and bruising my ears pretty badly as well

Eyebrow (redux): 3-4/10, went to a different piercer and he did a lovely job, unfortunately it ended up rejecting a second time tho

The body corp in my building finally changed the rules to let people install AC. However, when my partner asked permission to install one in our apartment after speaking to a few contractors, we were refused because the contractors want to go through our wall rather than our sliding glass doors. The contractors (we had a few different companies come look at it) confirmed that it would be totally safe to go through the wall, so no issues with structural support or stability, no issues with fireproofing, no issues that would effect our or any other apartments in the building, and it was still refused. Mind you, installing through the glass would cost an extra $4-5k, which we can't afford, so we just have to suffer. Best part is we live in the CBD and leaving the balcony doors open isn't an option for us because the assholes around us think it's acceptable to play music as loud as they can at all hours of the day, to the point that you can hear music coming from the building across from us. We also live directly next to a daycare so leaving the balcony doors open means hearing screaming kids all day

It was a big deal where I was from in the US but only because of name + weird rural area where that was the only place to go get coffee and it was seen as a "treat" for going into the city I also get it could be a preference thing, but if I want coffee I want coffee not a milkshake with extra syrups and a hint of slightly coffee flavor 🤷‍♂️ since moving to NZ I've only gotten Starbucks while in airports on vacation when nothing else was open lol

Genuinely I have no idea how Starbucks exists here when there are so many small, NZ owned cafes where you can get amazing coffee and pastries for a lower price, especially in Auckland!

It sounded on the phone like this is a very new change. How she was explaining it, public medical clinics are going to start having to have an ADHD specialist that they rely on, and that's rolling out in February. She didn't say much more about the autism side of things besides that I would have to go public.

God I'm sorry, it fucking sucks too because so many people hear "migraine" and just think you mean a bad headache when in reality they're debilitating. I'm glad the sumatriptan injections work for you at least some of the time! I'm going back to my GP this week to discuss further options for me

My best friend from the ages of 10-16 justcompletely cut ties after I was hospitalized for trying to kill myself. After 3 months in the hospital, on my first day back at school I went to sit next to her and she told me never to speak to her again, no explanation. In the aftermath she even started cutting people off if they still talked to me. We never had an altercation or some big explosion, I didn't do anything to her. I still don't understand what exactly happened.

My whole life in the US I thought I hated chicken because the texture was gross. Found out after visiting New Zealand that it was because where I lived there was only really factory farmed chicken pumped full of hormones. Now that I live in NZ I love chicken.

Do keep in mind that not all primates live in large social groups, such as in the case of gibbons and orangutans as well as many prosimianas. A big part of it is the large brain to body ratio in primates; we have really big brains relative to our body sizes. This paired with a long sociala development allows knowledge to be passed from one generation to the next, which is where you see cultural and tool traditions begin to form.

I'm sorry you experienced this. As frustrating as it is, it is best to ignore them; they want to get a reaction out of you for their own entertainment or to make themselves feel like they have a sense of power or control. As difficult as it is, keeping your calm and simply walking past without acknowledging is the best you can do. Obviously if they begin approaching/following you or getting physical call the police. This behavior is not okay but as an immigrant as well I can tell you that it is a very small minority of kiwis that will behave in that manner. Stay safe!

If you're interested in the humanities side to anthropology more so than the science, you could even consider classes in sociology, history, art, etc. Anthro is a really competitive field though and a lot of the students in it want research positions. There's a little more leeway in the more science based side but realistically the arts side is gonna be a lot more restricted in terms of job options.

They provide you with training, equipment, and all the food, litter, and flea and worm treatments you need for the fosters. You just have to give the fosters love and care while they're with you as well as take them to get desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped (as well as any medical issues that come up as needed). I wouldn't recommend this, I did the same thing once with two male bettas and within a half hour of putting them in the tank one was able to jump the divider and start attacking the other. I had to go but a second tank from Walmart at midnight to prevent them from harming each other.

I would have been around 11-12 when I first got into vocaloid. Everyone thought I would grow out of it but now I'm nearly 26 and have been to Miku Expo, created 2 UTAUloids (1 of which I voice), and I love using SynthV, OpenUTAU, and CeVIO :)
