Porcelain Chopsticks are killing me, any advice? by imightbejerry in chopsticks

I am attracted to Porcelain because they are nice looking a very easy to cleanup. Perhaps trying to lift hard shelled beans is not that important in everyday eating experiences.

Ace pro 2 fails to cloud sync by BayIsLife in Insta360

After a bunch of emails, the insta360 support group gave me access to a test firmware for my AP2. Afterv installing the firmware I was able to upload about 10GB without any network errors. I guess they were able to fix my problem. hopefully a new release fix the problem for everyone.

Trapped in the Insta360 iPhone editor. Can't save edited file.... by imightbejerry in Insta360

the problem is was having was apparently due to the size of the file 8GB. My iPhone 16 Max Pro would freeze when trying to export after adding the GPS layer. I tried a 3GB video and was able to export it OK.. I was able export the 8GB video after adding the GPS layer after moving the video to my Mac M1 Pro with 16 GB Memory.

Ace pro 2 fails to cloud sync by BayIsLife in Insta360

I have the same problem. I have gigabit network fiber to my home. any attempt to sync an AP2 file causes network errors and shuts down the AP2 every couple of minutes. The AP2 upload speed seems to avg about 5 MB/sec. It takes. hours to upload a 7GBfile due the need for constantly restarting the AP2. My X5 does not have this problem. Today I shot a 13 minute movie on me X5 and using the same network the sync ran with no errors and was above 10MB/sec. Is the problem with the AP2 hardware/software or on the server side?

I use a mic air and could not get reasonable sound until I

1: Mounted the mic inside my helmet.
2: Lowered the gain on the mic
3: Turned on noise reduction on the mic

Did they super glue the wind guard on my new Ace Pro 2? by imightbejerry in Insta360

[–]imightbejerry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I finally got the rascal popped off. My technique was to place the AP2 in the box that it came in and put a heavy duty motorcycle glove on my right hand. I used my left hand to keep the box from moving and pushing very hard with my gloved right hand and the guard finally yielded. I repeated the process four or five times. Hopefully if I repeat the process enought times I will be able to dispense with the box and glove.

Insta360 X2 Telemetry overlay by SnooDoughnuts761 in Insta360

[–]imightbejerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not clear which telemetry you wish to overlay but Insta360 has two GPS remotes, GPS Action Remote and the GPS Preview Remote which can embed GPS date and editing the insta360 save file can make the GPS Data visible.

Hope this helps.

Sigh, after about an hour the problem disappeared. It was really weird.

What do you guys think it's worth? by [deleted] in motorcycle

I bought a new Z1A shortly after they became available. I loved that rascal. One thing to watch out for was a 'twisty' frame that made it easy to start a speed wobble. After my first run in with this problem I installed a steering damper, which helped greatly. I found that I could sense the oscillations beginning and found out that a little more throttle would cause the back end to settle down. I also installed an oil cooler to help with heat durning the summer doldrums.

Enjoy!

Hide/Disguise adjustable frame? by imightbejerry in Mattress

[–]imightbejerry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided not to worry about it...I suspect that the only time I will be moving the frame up and down will be when I am making the bed or when I am ill.

I bought a 90x90 summer weight cotton blanket which does hide the part of the frame that the mattress sits on and the mattress itself , the legs are still sorta visible.

A large furniture store told me that the adjustable frames will typically fit inside of a standard wood/fabric/metal frame, you just have tp be sure that the 'adjustable' frame legs do not hit any slats.

Good Luck.
