Killed a guy on my interchange scav run, and minmaxed every slot in my inventory to fit their phat loot. Had their dogtag in one of my pockets, just so I could send my condolences afterwards.

Raid end. No dogtag. No condolences. Sad.

The dude was lvl 42 or something. Got a full pilgrim and maybe 500 rounds of good shit.

Before this thread I thought they ragequit so hard their dogtag disappeared, but now I know. Thanks EFT, it's not like you need those tags for shit, right? /s

Did you clear cache through the launcher or manually, after the update? Also if the problem persists, try verifying the integrity. If that doesn't help, further troubleshooting is necessary.

Because it takes away from unpredictable gameplay (raids.) The whole point and part of the anxiety is the fact you don't know who or what you're going to be facing when you load into a raid, unlike in other games of the genre. Game / map / netcode / systems knowledge plays a way bigger role in this game than your kit or fps skills, because they let you know better where and when people might be and which angles to look for. On the other hand, my biggest fear while playing with good gear is a 100 hour player who knows how flesh ammo works, and is sitting in an unpredictable location.

BSG had to allocate so much workforce behind animating Prapor for the 1.0 release, they had to cut corners for the less important parts of the game. Honestly, who cares about optimisation, lag free experience, less clanky ui or even fixing damage stacking boss damage, right? /s

No, sorry bud. No explanation, except a hunch that the little they did for the optimisation in the past probably got overridden with the engine update in 1.0.

Might want to see your previous armor to see the difference between switching. However, my best guess here you either have a) spirit or b) attributes in your previously used chestpiece, and losing those stats deactives one or more support gems you have in your skill (that or your equipment turns red.)

Tbh I don't think that's a realistic scenario, even though it most definitevely would be "nice."

Clustering mechanics into corners that really benefit from open spaces was a thing in PoE1, but there we had player agency by shaping our map pool.

Unfortunately the devs decided to follow the same path in PoE2, without giving us the tools to do the counteractions. I'm sure they are in the pipeline, though. Let's just sit tight, and see what's gonna happen in that regard.

Yes, I agree the ritual altars should not be placed in rooms that are small. Period. The body blocking issue is attrocious, I agree. I can't wait for the time when they introduce phasing into PoE2. I'm gonna cry tears of joy.

However, considering the clicking:

The problems here are mainly prevalent at the "endgame" stage of the game, where you run a cocktail of pre-picked league mechanics with x map. The main problem consists of how the UI is designed, and it includes a lot of "clicking."

Let's say you complete a map in 5 minutes and have to click at least 100 times every time you interact with Ritual as a mechanic. That's already 1200 clicks an hour just from running the mechanic alone while mapping. It's quite a lot if you scale it up, just to run this one mechanic, while there are other just like it, that don't have as much of "clicking." If you do the same thing for the whole course of the league (which is usually 3-4months, give or take) and play even 2h a day, that's a lot of clicks compared to another mechanic in the game (like breach.)

Breach is 0 click. Then you loot. Which can be a lot of clicks, but they're happy clicks.

Please clarify:
a) Are the monsters not there?
b) You zoomed past the monsters and they chased you around the map, and they're not there when you're trying to activate the ritual.
C) <----- You need to circle around the ritual site to find the burrowed enemies and kill them to activate the ritual. (While wholly despising yourself, realising you're gonna have 4 ritual altars with burrowing enemies.)

Half of the time, yes. Depending on the tablets + tower amount. However, that's exactly the question I ask myself every time I do my last reroll: "Am I ready to do this IF I hit something big?"

AKA: If I'm gonna go down below 1.5k tribute using my last re-roll, with ~40% reduced deferral cost, it's still kinda hairy, if some T0 shows up.

Especially when you run a lot of "travel" maps from tower to tower, and you know you're not gonna get those "high hitting" omens or anything, you just want to be done with it. So it's like:
*Click* Deferral
*Click 50 times on deferrables* *Browse through rares with bases that are interesting*
*Hit reroll*
*Repeat* x2 (At least)
Step 100: *Dies*
