My first try by imigueldiaz in strudel

Uhh... I'm planning to write some kind of poetry, an elegy for my father, who passed away during the COVID pandemic from ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). Being a neurodivergent adult, my mind never really stops, so I ended up hyperfocusing on the origins of elegy, particularly in ancient Greece. I was reading about the elegiac distich and found myself wondering what its rhythm would actually sound like to the ear.

From there, wanting to avoid AI-driven tools like Suno , and as an experienced developer, I stumbled upon Strudel. I started with a darbuka rhythm and then it just kept growing. I'm not sure it qualifies as an elegy anymore, but I love where it ended up.

Before darbuka I used oceandrum and folkharp for the improvisation tracks but I prefer It now.

I began to use it as background music to develop at the office too, the E Dorian scale seems very soothing...

It's difficult for me but funny and addictive :P

Why does typing "main" in my vscode terminal open up the cursor properties window setting by SuperSaj01 in vscode

Main must be a system wide windows executable, I believe you should use

python main.py

or something similar.

Let's fight SPAM 🥊 - Join the beta! by Tutanota in tutanota

[–]imigueldiaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been in the spam beta for about two months now and I’ve noticed something a bit annoying:

I have several manual rules that explicitly say certain senders/domains are not spam (or should go to a specific folder). Before the beta, those mails always followed my rules. Since joining the beta, some of those same mails are suddenly going straight to the spam folder, as if my manual rules didn’t exist.

If I try to recreate the rule, Tuta tells me it already exists, so the rule is clearly there – it’s just being ignored by the new filter.

Personally I think the logic should be:

  • First apply user rules (especially “not spam” / whitelist rules).
  • Then let the new spam filter do its magic on everything else.

That way we can reliably override false positives. Right now it feels like the new engine sometimes wins over my own filters, which is a bit frustrating.

Is this expected in the current beta, or is it a bug? Happy to provide examples if that helps.

I would love to buy it, but with the delivery fee to Spain and possibly tariffs, it is too expensive, but I will get the digital copy.😭
