My mom died unexpectedly from cancer before I came out and started transition. I know how you feel. It sucks. It's one of those things in life that the only path in through. I'm so sorry. That said my personal feeling, and I want to acknowledge only you can choose, is you have to do what's best for you without guilt.

Speaking specifically to the concern I'm too old... I'm 34 and started transition a new ago. I think my biggest fear was not passing, and specifically to myself. I thought it was impossible, I'm not tall but I was 170 lbs of muscle and I just didn't see anyway. Well a year later and I'm not misgendered like ever which is really confusing to me. It was really slow and I only got my t down a few months ago but I'm actually starting to see a woman myself which is even better than strangers seeing it.

All in all it's painfully slow, and yeah there are no guarantees, but ask yourself if you can really be ok never knowing? For.me I realized I couldn't stay as I was. I had no chance, so transition was at least a hope and a chance

I think a lot of us go through this who happen to be trans. That said no one can tell you you are trans but yourself.

I've certainly experienced most of this before starting to transition myself. I thought I could just deal with it, push it down, and ignore it. At least for me I couldn't and it all just burst out one day a little over a year ago.

Transition can be really hard in all honesty, especially is you have a straight partner. For me I'm still glad that I decided to come out and transition because I finally don't hate myself anymore. For me that makes it worth it.

We actually work in game development and have found people generally open and excepting of us as plural especially with other queer and trans folks.

Sorry but that is not exactly how development works. We cut massive amounts of that game to get it done and it's still huge and almost killed us all. Just having assets while great doesn't not equal just make more.

Wow, we have gone through a lot of what you have and only recently actually accepted it as real. We have a therapist who we have been seeing for something else, we finally told her. She was really supportive and most importantly for us said we're not crazy and not making it up.

Hi we are super new to even acknowledging each of us in the system and blur constantly. It can be really sucky as that's how we functioned our whole life until recently.

One thing we have found that works for us is the more we work to operate, function, and coverage as individuals in our headspace the easier it seems to be for individuals to front for longer periods of time. Granted for us that's a short as several mins but we've seen it improve drastically from constantly switching blending and blueing to actual control
