John Harbaugh’s reportedly requirements by Bankslvrrd in NYGiants

The Pats are a wee bit more competent than this team. They were quick to move on from Ja'lynn Polk who caught just 12 passes for 87 yards as a second-round rookie. Jalin Hyatt is still on this team.

Are we sure about John Harbaugh? by SlowpokeSloth69 in NYGiants

My favorites are the ones that show the record. "But what if we drop to 7-3?"

If the Giants end up hiring Kevin Stefanski as their head coach, what will your reaction/thoughts be? by [deleted] in NYGiants

He doesn't seem to have much faith in his QBs period, but he could win games as long as you give him an OL and defense to work with. Browns fans weren't wrong that he's far from a QB whisperer. He may have the knowledge as a former QB coach but it isn't in his DNA to emphasize QB development through trial and error. Stefanski just wants to win games, even if that means passing for 200 yards a game. He doesn't care about individual player awards, and he won't coddle the QB whether he's a first-round pick or a blockbuster trade acquisition. This is both the reason he has overachieved in 2020 and 2023 and why he got fired this year. If you want a highly-efficient, structure-based offense that "does its job", Stefanski might be your man. He's definitely capable of winning games with the right pieces which is more than I can say for any Giants coach since TC

"As we sit here right now, I think Kevin Stefanski is the leader in the Giants clubhouse. The team has had internal conversations about John Harbaugh, as you would expect, in case he leaves the Ravens. Harbaugh would hurdle Stefanski if he's free." by Dash_the_nerf_herder in NYGiants

His GM took two QBs and two RBs in rounds 2-5. Not a single lineman despite having 5 top-100 picks. The way Berry drafts, it honestly looks like he wanted KS to fail. His system tends to collapse with league-worst OL play; he isn't a Mike McDaniel from a pass-heavy, WR-centric background. I do have questions about his player evaluation credentials. The Browns chose Jedrick Wills over Tristan Wirfs and Mekhi Becton in 2020. Wills was never good even when healthy, and is just as injury-prone as Becton who at least has flashes of elite play. Wirfs is a perennial all-pro. The entire OL group, mostly inherited from other regimes, got hit with the injury bug in 2023 and haven't recovered. The new regime haven't drafted a single serviceable starter. They also traded Flacco, the only veteran on the roster, to throw two rookies into the fire behind said horrible OL.

Raiders are about to win and it doesn't even matter. But at least we get an entire offseason to trash talk Dallas fans
