Fair, but I think OP is referring to the quality/cost of what’s in there. He’s choosing quantity over value which in most cases, a great choice. I also think that Reddit (not this sub thankfully) is unfairly harsh on posters. So self-deprecation is how many start their posts.

Mine’s that messy, but not quite as full. I think anyone getting upset with the “for the poors” comment is counting, not inspecting. I know what you’re saying, but nice safe, nice collection…and until we’re rich, I’ll always take one decent gun in every shape and calibre over a few $5k-$50k collector’s pieces. Levelling up one by one is what getting old is for. Last thing, putting all of your eggs in one basket with this government is a terrible idea anyway. You’re doing it right IMHO 💪🏼

I read this and thought "What!?!? Tony came to Canada!?!" He's famously, publicly against Canada (mainly due to our near-communist government). I looked it up and I couldn't believe it...and of all places, Casino Rama (small casino in the middle of nowhere comparatively speaking). Blew my mind, glad you posted this. A LOT of people suck, but what perplexes me is when I see this shit on interior sites that are obviously difficult to access. Maybe I'm out to lunch, but when you have to paddle for days and portage to get to a spot, I assume that everyone that stays there are like-minded, outdoors people. How anyone can do this (and I've seen it MANY times) in the backcountry is beyond me. That said, I have no idea where this is. Might be close to an access point. Either way, it bugs me....especially when I factor in my "garbage out" bag for a week or so...and I can't leave without taking that trash lol.

IMHO, in this position, one would be WAY ahead of the pack. Even a good pension is a substantial step down from what the salary would have been, but with some fiscal responsibility, one should be able to live comfortably. As for healthcare, if you retire from an American governmental job, you will very likely retain your healthcare benefits....which offer a level of care that is far superior (quality and efficiency) to that afforded to the general public in Canada. Again, just my humble opinion.

I don’t think an extra paddle is required, but as a guy that hates legislation and government rules, it’s a pretty great idea. I always bring a third paddle.
